  August 29th will be a great night to be a teenager in Stanly County, as That Youth Thing brings back one of its most popular events. TYT:downtown - also called "INVERT" - is a free outdoor festival featuring activities such as a 3 on 3 basketball tournament, a Madden 2010 tournament, paintball, climbing walls and more. Open to all middle and high school students in Stanly County and the surrounding areas, INVERT has attracted as many as 2,000 students to the downtown area of Albemarle in past years. Headlining the music at INVERT will be High Flight Society, a popular band that is currently on its new release tour. With an energetic sound, HFS is enjoying packed venues all across the country.
